A sailer became a divemaster

 In PADI Divemaster

After hitching my way boat to boat from Europe, I got dropped off in the lazy town of Santa Marta the spring of 2018. I had been looking for an escape for quite some time, everyday life is just too boring. I found my way to Taganga pretty fast. I had been there some years before, but then in a rush. I had had this image in my head since then, this little charming unpolished Caribbean town. Now I was here again, this time with all the time in the world. It didn’t take many days before I found myself sitting outside Ocean Lovers one evening, with a cold beer getting to know some charming people.

As I am born in the fish, I always have had a soft spot for the ocean. There is nothing like it. There is no way better to experience it than with Lisi and her fantastic crew at Ocean Lovers Taganga. Nothing beats waking up with the sun and after locating your shorts take the short walk down to the shop for a coffee. I did my divemaster first and then drifted into something like a hang around, cause this shop provides more than just teaching. They are a wonderful group of people and during my divemaster training I always felt I was just having a good time with friends. They are professionals don’t get me wrong, but they are never boring.

If you are looking for a tropical paradise with a chill vibe, cool people and an underwater eldorado waiting to be explored. Look no further!

I owe a lot to this place for giving me an amazing experience.

Be aware of the snorkletest fellas, these people don’t fuck around. Hahahaha.

Big thanks from «DivemasterThor»

See you around good people, it’s all love.
